Accreditation
The laboratory of the Center holds accreditation at the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (laboratory number 4431) to meet the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005. The accreditation schedule includes testing of various elements by atomic-absorption, X-ray fluorescence, ICP-OES and fire assay methods. Gold content in can be measured respectively by different accredited methods: atomic-absorption following aqua regia digestion and fire assay followed by atomic-absorption finish.
